Preschool Yoga Series(2 – 4 yrs)

“Yoga” is defined as “union,” bringing together mind, body and spirit. The same is true for kids yoga. Children learn asanas (poses), breath (prana) exercises and techniques to calm the mind. But the most important component of a kids yoga class is FUN! In this 45-minute class, children experience yoga through songs, games, books and yoga adventures! Almost all yoga poses can be found in nature, so kids learn how to be animals, trees, mountains and more! As a parent/child class, adult participation is always encouraged and children and their caregivers will learn partner poses, a super fun way to bond and experience yoga together.
