Our Prenatal Exercise class will help you gently and safely strengthen, lengthen and tone through exercises that best support your changing body throughout pregnancy. Each exercise is carefully selected and modified for safety and great results. Come join us in this prenatal workout that will leave you feeling strong, healthy and energized!

Who should attend: Pregnant women in their first, second and third trimester looking for a revitalizing workout. Also great for new moms getting back into exercise. All fitness levels are accommodated and welcome!


Mommy and Baby Fitness Class

Your baby is the perfect workout partner in this (Ready. Set. MAMAS!) Mommy & Baby Fitness class! With the guidance of mom of 2 and Pre/Postnatal Exercise Specialist, Jaymie Gerard, you will gently strengthen and tone your body, paying special attention to your core and pelvic floor, the two most important areas to exercise after having a baby. Connect with your little one by singing, swinging and bringing your baby with you on your journey to a healthier you! Weekend daytime is perfect for working moms!

This is a beginner level, mat-based fitness class for moms and their babies who are 6 weeks to crawling. Please bring a blanket for your baby to use on the floor, and anything else to care for your and your baby’s needs during class. Breastfeeding friendly!

(Certified Prenatal/Postpartum Exercise Specialist)

Healthy, balanced, consistent exercise has been a part of Jaymie’s life for the past 10 years. When she found out she was pregnant with her first child, she knew how important prenatal exercise was, but she received many mixed messages about what was safe to do while pregnant and what was not. This motivated her to pursue certification to become a specialist in prenatal and postpartum exercise. She attributes her great pregnancy and speedy post-birth recovery to being fit and active during her pregnancy.

Jaymie helps moms-to-be to support their bodies and growing babies through gentle stretching and strengthening, focusing attention on correct form, and performing challenging yet safe exercises. Her prenatal exercise class will help you build the strength you need to support your changing body, prepare for labor, relieve and prevent negative pregnancy symptoms, reduce stress, and find joy in movement.

In addition to being a certified prenatal exercise specialist, Jaymie is also a musician, a writer, a tutor, a mother, and pregnant with her second child. She has a B.A. in Psychology, an M.Ed. in Integrated Learning, and is current completing certification in Pilates Mat instruction.
